Guest
The rachapruk grand hotel is a good one, quite new (or was new -99 when I stayed there) good facilities, good location near the city center and a good breakfast. Prices should be somewhere around 1400 a night. Strange thing is that though the hotel is big, new and modern they do not seem to have a website or do any advertising. I am sorry but I do not have any contact details left but I guess that any taxi driver can take you there. Good luck !
Guest
Yep. That's the one to which I was referring. Stayed at the Princess in Chiang Mai once too. Rooms in Chiang Mai were much smaller that the ones in Korat...which were very large. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall that the Princess hotels were once part of the Dusit group (but may have been sold off in recent years). jacko
[color:"red"] Hi, You can also try the "Hermitage" Hotel. Very nice and about 900 Bhts/night. http://www.hermitagekorat.com/ [/color] Looked okay, but no prices listed and their email address isn't accepting messages.
