Price wise I have so far seen quotes from DHL and UPS with similar numbers. I was less than impressed with DHL on a recent mailing Bangkok- Jakarta. It takes only 3 hours flight direct, but DHL routes via Hong Kong and then Singapore before going onto Jakarta. A shipment on Sunday arrived Wednesday which seems rather slow. Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Report Share Posted June 19, 2003 i always use FED EX, so far that has been the most reliable service here. very flexible and good customer service. lots of problems with UPS whose drivers drove me crazy as they just could not find my place and sent some important incoming mail back to europe. DHL has the annoying habit of going through every single shipment before sending it off - unacceptable if you send off things of a more sensitive nature. also their desk staff is incredibly arrogant, and you will get the run around in case of complaints.
