mike1000 Posted August 9, 2003 Report Share Posted August 9, 2003 Had a multi entry O visa for the last year, but got tied of the visa runs. So, went down to Pattaya Soi 8 Immigration a few days ago and asked what the options were. Was told if I had 800,000 THB in the bank and was over 50, I could have a year visa without the 90 day runs. Luckily I had just transferred some funds in to buy a car. Applied the next day and got a year stamp four hours later. Have to report every 90 days at immigration to, but a lot less hassle than the Cambodian run.. Only needed copies of wife?s (our) property book, confirmation letter from bank, savings account book and a couple of photos. They did not even ask to see our marriage certificate.
