What kind of VISA?

The thread on VISA fees gave me this idea for a poll.

I want to know what kind of VISA's are obtained by the expats living in LOS.

Whether you're here in Thailand for work, sanuk or nose picking and living longer than 6 months...

What kind of VISA do you have?

No VISA

Tourist VISA

NON-IMM. VISA type 'A'

NON-IMM. VISA type 'B'

NON-IMM. VISA type 'O'

Residence VISA

Retirement VISA

Other...(please specify)

Zaad,

it looks like limbo is in limbo on this one.

A little less than a year ago I applied for a Non Immi O and still haven't received it. Somewhere in september I'll hear more about it. After a few one moth extensions which cost me each time 1000B I finally had a 4 month extension, which cost me 2500B. Great, isn't it.

I'm here at this very moment on temporary extensions after having had a Non Immi B for a few years.

Don't call us, we'll call you.

Non-Imm B & Work permit, every year comfortably renewed at the one stop service center.

No forced trip out of the country, just report every 90 days at Immigration.

No fees also. (Or do they send my employer the bill ::)

in one word: COMFORT :p

If I remember correctly... :::

NON-IMM. type 'A': one can not obtain a work permit with this VISA.

NON-IMM. type 'B': for work purposes, can obviously obtain a work permit.

NON-IMM. type 'O': for supporting family and can obtain work permit as well if desired.

Damn short explanation! I'm a bit lazy to check the site for a clear and detailed explanations. Experts can correct me at all times. :)
