gawguy
How do these stack up for clearing all tracks? The registry? Thanks, GG
racha
Lots of warnings about evidence eliminator on the net, I was looking for programs like this to clean my hard disk and shyed away from it because of the warnings I kept stumbling across, no expert on the subject though so hope the IT experts can give you some better details.... gawguy
Thanks. I haven't seen the warnings so I don't know what they are about. What do they warn against? IT EXPERTS --- SOME INPUT PLEASE. Is Internet Sweeper adequate for clearing all tracks?
stumpy
I use EE, no problems with the software but their tech support is crap. i.e. don't expect answers to any emails you may send them.
gawguy
My problem with EE is that they want $135 (!!) for it. This goes along with their over-the-top bullship advertising. I would like to use Internet Sweeper because it is free/cheap. Or someone could send me a EE! I wonder where they put the expiration flag for the trial version - i.e. how do you defeat the expiration? I've reinstalled software in the past, but that didn't work. Anyway...paying that much is out of the question. Thanks, GG
racha
Found these two web sites with lots of info how bad evidence eliminator is, I gave up looking for more links as I stumbled across some of their scam sites by mistake that tried to get me to download the program and I was getting stuck on those URL's not being able to close them, I found enough evidence to scare me off, these guys running this are scam artists working out of a very small room in England and have very unscrupulous ways of selling this product, http://evidence-eliminator-sucks.com/ http://www.planetmaker.com.au/html/articles/articleEVIDENCEELIMINATOR.htm
