She called me last week to tell me, that she has friends and they have invited her to there home. I have no doubt that she has gone on work there to rake in the $$$. As long as someone overhere is prepared to sign a guaranteepaper and takes all reponsibility for her while she is here, then it's not difficult at all for her to get a touristvisa to Holland. As for working in the "bizz" : she could have better chosen another European country for that. Since prostitution has been legalized the police is doing constant raids on bars and private houses in the RLD to deport illegal prostitutes . None for "pure" bizz. Not the place to go if one is pursuing that side of travelling. All of them went there with a man...what happened after - of course, she does not know. "Friends" - well, they may call the men "friends" but that's where their visas came from. She has no idea of "organized" contracts for there. Like Twoluckyone says there is a continuous crackdown going on when it comes to illegal prostitutes. She can only make it here on a tourist visa and her guarantor must be a pretty low class scumbag or dumb ass if he/she would allow her to work. The first being hooking up with a local( holiday in Thailand, internet etc.) and get him to do the guarantees etc. and second, organising it through a Thai with a Dutch passport. Of the latter there are many, and many are involved in organising "tourist" visa's for TG's( for a significant fee). I would say that at least 90% of the girls using this "service" work in massage parlours, operated out of "normal" houses, in all major cities in Holland. I know loads of bargirls that get Shengen visas easily and quickly. American and British Visa's, by contrast, are extremely difficult to get. With the right contacts, a girl can still successfully do escort work. Of course, she will need above average looks and some English for this. Disclaimer: I lived in Holland during the early 1980s and have many friends there but, to be honest, I am way out of date on the situation. and may be talking out of my arse! Amsterdams ever enterprising working girls offer their own exchange service, although not as good a rate as the Banks - it's probably a better rate (and certainly a better service ) than those various rip-off exhange booths.
