torrenova
Now I know this will have been gone over before but I hope you guys will bear with me as I need up to date information. I have some friends who want to hook up in BKK in late October who need good clean hotels for a couple of days. Budget not too large, maybe Bt 750 - Bt 1250 so my usual recommendation of 5* hotels at good prices cannot apply. All the usual requirements, location, policy, safe etc. Also, the same requirement for Pattaya. We have all stayed at the Residence Garden through the FLB at Bt 1350 but the food is shit. Would love recent recommendations from board members about other friendly alternatives, with pool and bathtub (for a mini Sabailand !!!). Budget about the same but depends upon the location / facilities. Could probably stretch higher if really good. Food not so important if in the centre. Thanks guys, all assistance appreciated. trooper
I could suggest Royal Asia Lodge on soi 8 Sukhumvit for 890 baht and Flipper Lodge in Pattaya on soi 8 for around same price. Both are clean and have pools. Very good value for money.
Guest
For Pattaya, http://www.mamaisonhotel.com/index2.html should fit the bill for you. Good food and electronic safes in every room. Oops! Didn't see the mini SabaiLand reference. Hmm...maybe not. http://www.woraburi.com/ http://www.woraburi.com/new/woraburi_inn/room.html# is ok for Bangkok.
