Fatbastard
On the way out of Hua Hin I stopped at the UK Butcher shop, stocked up on hams, bangers and some imported steak and cheese and a dollop of smoked salmon. The guy has a good range of stuff and it all is of good quality at MUCH less cost than is availble in Foodland or Villa. Just wonder why he set up in HUa Hin with its limited market opportunity? Guest
If this is the place on Phetkasem Road by the PT station a couple of kms out of town, I think it is called Butcher Shop, then the owner is a chef at the Sofitel, which is how he gets his stock, I suppose. There is a small but good quality selection and they are very friendly people, there is also a restaurant attached. The guy is Thai, so I dont see the UK connection, I wasn't aware of the UK part of the shops name. It seems to do a good trade especially with weekending Bangkokians.
