Man at Work
Sad - but expcted - news! He was one of the best. Seen him trillion of times here in Krautland and also at the Wembley music festivals in the early 80s. I reconned that he would not last very long after June past away a couple of month ago. Maybe the good lord likes a little picking too: RIP big John, I will miss you! MaW

Guest lazyphil
I agree. I find C&W a bit crap but just last year I bought a JC greatest hits CD and think he's bloody good. Walk the Line
SiLeakHunt
"Ring of Fire" has been the theme tune to a number of my trips to LOS after one of those roadstall Tom Yams. Unfotunately "A boy named Sue" would have made apt acompanyment to one of my drunken evenings on Ko Samui. Cheers

Guest
I agree with all. :(I cannot stand country music, but loved his work. I had a couple of older CDs and bought his latest around the time I traveled to Thailand in April. Must of listened to his rendition of Trent Resnor's "Hurt" about 12 times on the plane. Great stuff......
