Sad - but expcted - news!

 

He was one of the best. Seen him trillion of times here in Krautland and also at the Wembley music festivals in the early 80s.

 

I reconned that he would not last very long after June past away a couple of month ago.

 

Maybe the good lord likes a little picking too:

 

RIP big John, I will miss you!

Unfotunately "A boy named Sue" would have made apt acompanyment to one of my drunken evenings on Ko Samui>>

I agree with all. :(I cannot stand country music, but loved his work. I had a couple of older CDs and bought his latest around the time I traveled to Thailand in April. Must of listened to his rendition of Trent Resnor's "Hurt" about 12 times on the plane. Great stuff......
