dddave
My Thai GF and her 2 boys, aged 5 and 8 will be staying with me in Bkk for 3 days in Nov. What are some appropriate "kid" attractions. I found a post on "Dream World" which looks good. Are there any decent zoo's around (forget about Thermae) or other places that they might enjoy? Thanks dj

limbo
Dusit Zoo (suan sat Dusit) is actually a pretty good Zoo which the kids may enjoy a lot. It's located between Chitlada palace and the National Assembly Hall, the main entrance is off Ratwithi Road.

dddave
I agree about the shopping arcade play area's. They have one at the Choensri Center mall in Udon Thani and the kids love it. Thanks for the zoo info. Is it accessable from the Skytrain, or is a taxi a better idea from the Suk. area?? Thanks dj

limbo
Hi Dave, for the zoo you're ebst off with a cab, the skytrain doesn't go in that direction as far as I know. Have fun!
rovineye
In the same area as Dream World, is Safari World. Zoo/fish/thrill show. 200 baht farang, 100 baht Thai. Don't remember about kids price. Ride a bus thru the open zoo format. Pretty nice place. Dream world had plenty to do also. If you do both in 1 day, start early. Taxis are no problem there for ride back home.
