Hidy Ho
I went to JJ market to look at the amulets. My Thai friends were also not into "buying" amulets. And some of 'em are very very expensive. I think, typically, they are handed down in the family, gifted by friends or received at wats. In the end, my friend told others that I was looking at amulets and next few days about five Thai people gave me a bunch. Only stipulation was that I was not to ever sell 'em but to gift 'em, if not kept.
