rovineye Posted November 26, 2003 Report Share Posted November 26, 2003 I use ATMs, and ALWAYS bring travelers checks. Usually about 1500 USD. Rarely use them. But a faulty satellite or rabid computer virus could make all those electronic funds unavailable. Don't think it can't happen. If it ever does, it won't ruin my holiday fun! I will be flush with baht while the LT prices will be dropping as ATM funds dry up and punters hole up in their hotels. Armageddon for some, shangrila for others!
