JJsushi
Where can one buy baby clothes really cheap ? I am interested in infants and toddlers clothing. I would even buy bulk if I can get wholesale prices.
khwaimaisabai
Hi jj, TGF and I get them at Lotus, On Nut or Carrefour, On Nut. There probably are cheaper places, but their prices seem OK to me. I don't know about wholesale. Khwai
jai-dee
Go to Bobae wholesale market on Thanon Krungkasem (just north of Hualampong railway station).
adikgede
The baby clothes in Carrefour Indonesia are not fire-retardent. I suspect the same is also true in Thailand. Down here I find that the clothes in factory outlets are actually cheaper than the department store clothes. If they have them in Thailand that would be the place to go. My kids look like they just stepped out of a mail-order catalog, but at 1/4 the price.
Guest
What adilegede says is VERY importsnt if you are considering resale in Western markets. If you can't pass the test, they will be seized. Plus you will have to arrange export permits from Thailand and import permits under the quota system impossed by each country. JJsushi
Actually this has been the year of the babies for alot of my newly married friends and family. Baby clothes are freaking expensive here in the States!! I figured I would buy a boatload of them and give them as presents. I have yet to meet a couple that couldn't use extra jeans, coveralls, pajamas, etc. Thanx for the info though did not know about the fire retardant stuff.
