rickfarang
Sadly, the first death from Chicken SARS was reported in Thailand this morning. . Many more Thais raise chickens for their own consumption than comercially, and this is probably where the greatest risk is, as these chickes are often free to wonder around the farm/house/village and interact with other animals. The chickens I've seen have never been washed, let alone treated for potential deisiese like Chicken SARS. I hope this gets better quickly
Mentors
Yesterday Switzerland ban chicken import. Today i read that Thai Airways still serve chicken on board ::
rickfarang
Is this the same Thai Airways that is operated by the government of a S.E. Asian country whose newspaper' sfront pages showed their Prime Minister chowing down on chicken only last week, saying that there is no Chicken SARS? If its good enough for the richest man in the country and a 6 year old boy and his mother at the other end of the economic spectrum, then it should be good enough airline passengers (are ariline passengers temporarily avian anyway)? Sorry. Couldn't help it.
