loner w/a boner Posted March 16, 2004 Report Share Posted March 16, 2004 Question to follow: *************** Occurrance #1: Symptoms: Blocked sinuses, sinus headache, etc but NO tight throat (symptomatic of histamine (allergen / pollen) yes???). Sneezed a ball of GRAY goo / mucous -- not green. Location: Chaing Mai (higher elevation and abundance of plants) Date: mid - December misc details: Happened during 3rd day of trip. Since Chaing Mai less populated, figured was pollen (but no sore throat). I am NOT a smoker. NO such problems in native country, and nothing similar happened elsewhere. Discomfort level, relatively mild. Am 42 yo, very obese. *************** Ocurrance #2: Location: BKK Symptoms: Identical to CM, but no ball of goo. Also, NO sore throat! Hmmm? For the next two weeks, had a an on-going MILD runny nose, but still NO sore throat (again, lack of histamine???). Date: late Feb/early March misc details: OTC sinus medication giving minimal, if any benefit. Discomfort level, relatively mild. *************** Question: I am wondering if it may be pollen related, or if maybe I am showing early signs of a progressive pollution - related breathing problem.
