Apart from living/visiting LOS. What has been the most effective way that people have learnt the lingo. Are there any decent books/cd's/dvd's around that you guys can recommend ? Cheers p.s. The Thais, who want to charge me more than 300 Baht an hour, want me to teach then Englsih (Good luck to them as that s a foreign tounge to me!) In Aus I got a very good Thai girl to teach me for 300 baht an hour, one on one lessons, 20 hours later I could have basic conversations.
