Guest
My Fiancee ask Do you think I should pay 3% more for 24000 Baht on the plane ticket, If I buy it on my credit card. The benefit is a life insurance cover of $150,000 during in trip from home to destination. My response will be... I pray something like that would never happen. The odds however they are giving is 100,00 to 1 of a plane crash. The true odds are higher of it actually occuring, so would pay cash if you have it. You guys agreee and whats the true odds of a plane crash?

From this I assume you are flying from BKK and are based there. If so I wouldn't worry about the flight - but I strongly recommend an armoured personell carrier to get you to the airport!!! Really, the risk you run every day of your life are usually far greater than the risks involved in air travel. But if yuo want insurance to benefit your immediate family then any reasonable travel insurance policy will give you what you seek as well as covering you for all the other more likely eventualities such as your luggage ending up in Frankfurt! My flight on Korean Air from LAX to Seoul was 192,560:1 And the flight from Seoul to BKK was 199,450:1. Maybe I should just cancel the trip now!!! nkped
You'll be at greater risk when your taxi pulls out onto Sukhumvit than you will be at any time on the airplane.
