Khun_Kong
Running WinXP home version on laptop, a Toshiba Sattelite. Trying to output to JVC TV. TV NTSC/PAL/SECAM compatible, using S-video connector on laptop to S-video on TV. Also tried S-video to component input on TV. I can see the computer image on the TV, but it has many jagged lines and about 5-6 horizontal bands, rendering the image almost 100% indecipherable. If I play with the refresh rates and CPS settings, the image on the TV changes, but nothing works yet. There are about a zillion possible combinations. If I close the laptop cover, putting it in "Hibernate" mode, the MS "Hibernating" screen shows clearly on the TV, about 5-6 seconds before it actually hibernates and the screen goes black. The graphics card is an Intel 82852/82855 GTM/GME graphics controller, running the laptop LCD at 60 Hz, 1024 x 768, True Color. Any suggestions, such as a suggested refresh rate/resolution combination, for the TV? Driver change?
