You can get lots of good advice about Bangkok and elsewhere in Thailand on the Nana Pay site. We'll worth it for a person heading into the fun zone for the first time. I would also recommend www.BangkokTonight.com as a good source. Not sure about your travel connections but many have a few hours layover on the way to BKK so you could so some net surfing while charging you batteries! Have fun, keep you valuables locked, don't pay too much, use a condom and DON'T fall in love! Not far behind you but will be spending most of my time in Patong, Phuket. Do a search for Eden Club on this site, you might give the place a go for you first round. They are on the same side of the Street about 10 min walk! They'll clean your pipes. Slut it up on the Sois.
