One visa - two work permits in a row?

Recommended Posts

Can I use my Non "B" visa for two consecutive employments (different employers) ?

I have a double Non "B" visa and used my first entry already for a work permit.

I'm staying now in Thailand using my second entry, which I would like to use to apply for a new work permit for a new job. Possible?

I will ask my tennis partner as he as i recall switched to another employer but he mentioned nothing about getting a new visa but only getting a new work permit.

It does make sense that one could use the same visa as it is not connected to the work permit.

Be sure to cancel one work permit and start the process for the other so you can remain in the country until you visa expires or time to renew..

Your visa must not be shorter than your work permit but I don't know the process when that approaches expiration. I will assume re-newal of a work permit includes getting the visa extended first?

Try www.thaivisa.com for visa/work permit info. I have found it helpful.....
