I tried this telediscount last summer ( 2003) ,but I used a public BT phone box as I was a bit dubious with their prices etc,It was a shocking line and also cost about £3 for 3 mins,so i dismissed it after a few go's. Anyway I tried it again today from my BT residential phone line and hey presto,worked first time,excellent connection,,,,,Im just hoping it is only 7 pence per minute as I'll be using it frequently from now on,untill my next bill at least. I have been using them for 2 years consistently now and I rarely have any problems. No more lond distance contracts or crappy calling cards that I have to buy in the Asian part of town. Many calls these days are VOIP and many people don't even know it. I call from the USA. I wish the costs would come down for calls made to mobiles, they are still ridiculously high.
