alexgb Posted June 19, 2004 Report Share Posted June 19, 2004 My Thai lady wanted to see the Doctor but had no faith in the local bloke,so I took her to the nearest big town and found the two clinics there both had huge queues that we were told had not moved for hours.They were waiting for the Doctors to finish at the local hospital first.I don't think in the sticks the Thais visit the Doctor lightly.Many looked really ill.The 30b didn't seem to work there either. But they also have nightmares about docs - I interpret all this as respect for authorities. The doctor is close behind Kingdom come, and munks. Cheers!
