shotover
"If she needs a passport where to go to get one? We live in Chumpon, but her home adress on identity card is still her parents place in Udon province" My GF is from Ubon Ratchathani, which is shown on her Thai ID card. She got her passport without problem at the Bangkok Bang Na Central Office. I assume other major cities (maybe all province capitals?) have government offices where they issue passports to Thai nationals.
thalenoi
I heard it should be possible to introduce demand for passport at any post office. Don't know if this is correct though. I need an other 3 weeks before I get back to LOS...
Guest
Cancun and Mazatlan might be a tourist deal for flying in, dunno. On occasion in the past, I have had to travel overland through sections of Mexico. The first time I did it, my colleague took me to a Mexican Immigration office at the border, where a card was stapled into my passport. I always had to get one. As for Cambodia, I spend time there, and Thai colleagues always have to get a visa.
