ThaiHome
According to our accounting dept, even though several refunds have been filed, no expat in 10 years has ever been able to collect. Seems they just go through a number of reviews until you are no longer in country.
Guest
Im an expat, and have received refunds (when due) from the Revenue Department regularly, at the same time as Thai staff. Tell your account to get his/her shit together.
Guest
When exactly is the end of financial year? 31st dec???.....and where do i go to lodge a tax return. This financial year i did pay tax (minimal) but i was only working legitimately (on the books) for a couple of months. Because my earnings didn't reach a certain threshold I've been told that I can lodge a tax return and probably get nearly all, if not the whole amount back... approx. 6000 baht. Better than a kick in the head. SO any takers? Cheers
