I had four large bags of personal items plus a PC and carry-on bag when I moved here. Two of my bags were rejected by the airline because they weighed over 100lbs. They would take from 75-100lbs. but would charge extra. Had to ship the excess and what a nightmare that was (too long to explain here). When I got here I still had a considerably high value of personal goods, albeit all used. Camera and computer equipment mostly. Just declared all the high value items and when I stopped by customs explained my situation and that they were all for personal use. I was simply waved through after a cursory check. Regarding TVs, look for a model that says 'multisystem' or 'multiformat.' Do not assume all TVs play back both NTSC and PAL. I bought a nice 25 inch Sony MS for about THB10,500 and I've seen other brands for cheaper. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
