Hugh_Hoy
From time to time, speculation runs wild as to the futures of NEP and SC. Both venues are located in prime/expensive areas on valuable land. No doubt, at some time, high-rise construction will take place. Accordingly, I'm offering this idea for comments: designate NEP and SC as "World Heritage Sites". Retain the beauty of both and return them to their pre-TRT days. I don't know how many have ever visited the "subtrannean" Seattle, but I'd suggest something like this: New construction could be built over and around both areas with only entrances to the plaza visible from the street. They'd be enclosed, similar to downtown Las Vegas (complete with A/C and not exposed to the elements). That way, the "charm" could be retained without being "in your face". And generations could continue to enjoy what we've had the chance to sample. (It would also be a good time to add more exits to NEP.)
