Lusty
Complicated one this.Does anyone know anything about the red tape involved in importing non-perishable food stuffs in bulk from the UK into Thailand.I,ve also heard that port officials have to be bribed to guarantee quick and safe clearance of your container. This is pie in the sky at the momment and its something that may or may not happen in the future but I may as well put some feelers out. Pom Michael
Rusty, Not too complicated. You will need the following (assuming this is for commercial use and not personal). a. Registered Thai Company b. Import License c. FDA permit/license (dependant on the item). The quickest / easiest way is to find a company that already imports the item or a similar item and let them import it for you. Personal use can be trickier / more expensive to import legally. Good Luck.
