redwood13
Thomas Thompson's SERPENTINE is an excellent account of Sobhraj's life up to the time of his imprisonment. I read it right after my first trip through Asia 1979-80 so a number of the venues were places I'd been. Lots of copies of this in paper on abebooks.com for a US dollar. Some of you may recall Thompson as the author of BLOOD & MONEY. -redwood
chuckwoww
Richard Neville who wrote "The Life & Times of Charles Sobhraj" http://www.richardneville.com/Books/Sobhraj/Asia%20Svengali%20feb.htm is quite an interesting fellow himself. Made a name for himself in London during the sixties with an underground paper (OZ). There was a big court case at the time. Nowadays he calls himself a Futurist and gives lectures on Futurism. http://www.richardneville.com/
Davo
Yes, I just noticed yesterday that Jenny Kee (a minor celebrity here in Aus) posed naked on the cover of OZ magazine in 1969 when she was 22. Here is the link OZ Magazine front covers

chuckwoww
Thanks for that. Funny how those covers were considered quite shocking at the time. Now they just seem quaint.
