Guest
chako maybe that fine root from the garlic family, looks like a mass of small long roots in a clump. Only found in northern Thailand afaik. Trying to remember all the things we put in Kao Soi ...... there wasn't a lot of ingredients.
jasmine
[color:"red"]Trying to remember all the things we put in Kao Soi ...... there wasn't a lot of ingredients. [/color] The difficult part is the curry paste for the curry to go with the noodles. Of course the real Kow Soi egg noodles cannot be found but any good egg noodles will be fine. I still don't know what the original poster is asking Jasmine

I still don't know what the original poster is asking Jasmine Jas, he is apparently looking for the English name of a Kow Soi ingredient that he thinks is pronouced Chako in Thai. Unfortunately his cut and paste of the Thai characters failed.. Well that's best i can figure anyway.
