Any info? don't really like depending on tuk tuk drivers, and while I expect there is very little thats all the more reason to find out what there is. -peter

Somehow, I think most of the talent from up that way is busy in BKK, etc. ... more money to be had!

 

But, there's got to something for the locals! Try the karaoke clubs.

I think kalasin girls are a rarity in Bkk, never met one myself.Karaoke clubs what are they? :beer:

First girl i ever went out with in Pattaya was from kalasin. In 4 days of meeting her, i was sleeping on a mat with her and her daughter on each side, and had, therefore my first glimpse of Issan life. LOve at first sight, as you know well.

 

I do not see the problem in relying on tuktuk drivers. Don't tell them you are looking for sex, but digs mo-lam, and given the many troupes playing this music coming from kalasin, it should not be hard to find some dark little (or big and lighted) club in town where you can slowly get acquainted to Kalasin nightlife while enjoying your favorite music on stage.

 

At you hotel, they will also oblige with infos after dark.

 

Roi-et was strangely unhappening when i was there 4 years ago, especially coming from Maha Sarrakham, and going to UBon. So, I am curious how you will report on it.

 

Hopefully, some others will have some names, but, IMO, even blindfolded and walking backwards, you'll find the happening spots in no time, anywhere around Issan. If you find nothing, then they don't exist.

You will have to rely on the locals to show you the way.

 

I can't imagine much at least in terms of quality..

 

I sure didn't see much in either place but that was day-time hours...
