stonepony
A man can dream can't he. I do believe this is the first time that both LA teams have been in the playoffs the same year. Got to love the fact that both So. Cal teams spanked both No. Cal teams and kicked them out of the playoffs. Let the playoffs begin Go Dodgers!!! Go Angeles!!! OCgringo
Well a few of us behind the "Orange Curtain" would not exactly call it a "LosAngeles" World Series maybe "Interstate 5 " series ? Anyway great to see the locals get this far !
BadaBing
Agreed , the " Gridlock " series would be great , I live about 10 miles from Dodger Stadium , but grew up in a AL city , i'll be root'n for tha Angels either way. OCgringo
actually I think you could take the train from Union station to Anahim, there is a train station somewhere near the stadium,,, probably the only 2 places in SoCal that you could take a train between ! Steve
Well, I am gonna still claim the Dodgers since I spent some very early years in Brooklyn. Plus my Phillies haven't done anything. There was Missouri series once I think between KC Royals and St. Louis Cardinals. Was there ever a 'Subway series' between Mets and Yanks? World series that is? Can't recall. Has there been an A's/Giants as well?

Belem
There was Missouri series once I think between KC Royals and St. Louis Cardinals. That was in 1985 when Joaquin Andujar made an ass out of himself. Was there ever a 'Subway series' between Mets and Yanks? World series that is? Can't recall. That was in 2000 when the NY Yankees won their third straight World Series.
