gobbledonk
Plenty of people download adult porn and never get involved with prostitutes or any part of the adult sex industry Heaven forbid that people should actually go out and get their rocks off in the *real* world. :: Our deputy-PM, a devout Catholic (now there is a group that knows all about child sexual abuse..) has used this latest 'expose' to rail about the decline of morality following the free-love era of the 60's. If he had his way, *everyone* who had ever checked out a pornsite would be fronting up to a Magistrate. Lets fill the churches and the jails - the time of reckoning is fast approaching. Lusty
Australia could become a "Catholic fundermentalist" country. Now that WOULD be funny!
check_bin_krap
Pretty naive. Of course you do. I am sure (tho' have no firsthand experience) that these guys do not label their pix "naked12yearoldgivingablowjob.jpg". So just how do you expect software to find these offensive pix? Computers & software are NOT smart enough (nor are a lot of humans) to look at pix and determine if it is a porno pix or if the subject is of legal age, *especially* if only looking at the title. Hence the problem with censorship. The is NO WAY to take the human factor out of it. And as KK said, in that case, who gets to decide what is legal? Who looks at all the pix? Where? Who's gonna pay for it? Regards, SD Its already being done on a huge scale, police do it to prosecute offenders. The filter which my ISP has is also linked up to a blacklist from Norwegian police, who again get info from Interpol. So lets agree that we already pay for it (at least some countries do). Software to do the job has been around some time, its not just search for text. Sure, some human judgement comes into it. You can't prosecute offenders based upon SW. And I don't really know how good the SW to handle this is, I base what I write here upon what I have read. Cheers!
chuckwoww
FJ hits the nail on the head as usual. How about this for a suggestion. Instead of putting the Ozzie pervs in jail why not send them to Japan? Ten years community service in a Japanese girl's school, coupled with some strict counselling of course, would show them the error of their ways.
