Guest Posted August 21, 2001 Report Share Posted August 21, 2001 They told me I had to have a Thai certificate of residence, in Thai, that you get from the Thai immigration office and I did see them giving them out but I only have a 60 day double-entry tourist visa and immigration told me that I had to have a non-immigrant visa of some description plus three photos and a copy of my lease. All of this sounds good but if a person isn't able to do it, it seems the same old same old to me. I have a friend who just did the same thing last week with the same results, no certificate of residence from Thai immigration, no vehicle in your name. I have read elsewhere that you can put a vehicle in your name with a tourist visa but I have yet to meet someone who did it and I'm proof of someone who couldn't do it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
