nkped
Won't defend the crappy attitude or the misinformation. The part that required the half an hour of processing, paperwork and fingerprints was required (people doing it didn't have a choice in the matter). Saw it the way it should be done the one time I arrived in LAX on an international flight. Folks in line ahead of me were a U.S. citizen and his elderly, non-English speaking parent with an immigrant visa. Obviously, just going by the signs, they would have gone through separate signs, which would have been hard on the old person and would have actually slowed things. When asked, an officer told them to both go through the non-U.S. citizen line saving a lot of grief for everybody.
