Guest Posted August 15, 2001 Report Share Posted August 15, 2001 dean's book is not banned. nowadays books do not get banned easily in thailand. they know that it would mean great advertisement to ban a book. even the biography of the king is not banned, very badly written, throughout the book the author uses the king's nickname. very patronising. stores simply prefer not to sell it here. dean's book is on sale in bookazine. asia book does not want to sell photobooks with photos of the nightlife scene. asia books is thai owned, bookazine owned by a canadian.
