trooper
Can someone tell if they charge extra for guests? If yes what would be the best guestfriendly hotel choise withing a same price range on Sukhumvit? What is the best way to book Grand President if I end up choosing that? samak
the only good thing in Swiss Park is Joke Club, the chinese restaurant (with focus on Joke and Dim Sum) in the basement. the rooms i heard are not much value for money.
trooper
The Swiss Park rooms look nice on their web page but I know the pics can lie. For example check the pics on Nana Hotel web site, the room I got there had nothing to do with the pic on the website. Right now options are Woraburi, Swiss, Grand President, Fortuna, Manhattan, Ambassador...Shit it's hard to choose. Good pool is a must cause I've seen all the sightseeing things in Bangkok so daytime is for swimming and sunbathing and sipping drinks by the pool. samak
if you really like a great pool, go to President park; not one of the listed options has a nice pool.
Mentors
I stay most of the time while in BKK at Swiss Park. The hotel is good, clean and the price is ok, also i like the location. (Soi 11/1) You have to book for two persons, so on that way it is guest friendly. They just check the guests ID card. I prefer the larger rooms. If you book for 2 persons, then Swiss Park is guest friendly. Since a while, Swiss Park is crowded with Japanese and Chinese tourist golfers with their large package, not very amusing. Maybe you like to try the new Business Grand on same Soi (the newest part of Business Inn).
