Palatkik
Anyone know the current status of the TOTonline 1222 service? Their web site http://www.tot.co.th/en/product/dataservices/totonline1222.php has some info about applying for a CD at their office, though no indication of cost if any. Previously (a few years ago) one needed no CD and simply dialled 1222 and used default logon totonline@totonline.net and generic password, and were on the net for 2hrs for the 3B phone charge. There was no need to buy a prepaid 1222 ISP service card from a third party vendor. Have things changed since?
thalenoi
all I can tell you is that any internet service using number 1222 will give you a busy signal most of the time between 07.00 and 23.00. I recently tried Samart bought at 1/11 shop and True from which I got a free 30 days unlimited card. Plain bullshit if you can't connect
Palatkik
Just got the answer from this today at a TOT office. They give you a document now with a passwrd and logon to use. It works reasonably well and I don't get the busy signal referred to by others. That being said, I'll keep it as a back up ISP only, and stick with my ADSL:-)
