If some man had sliced off a women's genitals just because he was jealous would have been big news and he would have been seen in the media as the monster he is - and I'm sure his future mates in prison would be anxiously awaiting his arrival (with skives and various other pleasant tools)... Hate to say it but nowadays when a women does this to a man its not seen the same way. In the News article they mention how among other charges the women faces is "tampering with evidence". When I first saw this reported live on CNN the female anchor was actually laughing and made fun of the report and quipped "going to be hard to follow that story". As the female doctor noted in the article, while its been reattached, "it's more likely that it might not work very well". The plumber found the missing appendage and as it was the same color as the man they assumed it was his and stiched it back.
