Best Hotels in : Khorat, Buriram

Am going to spend 4-5 nights in the area. Can someone

recommend the best hotels there ? Thanks.

I once stayed at the Sima Thani in Khorat, and it was very good, a solid 4 stars, with a nice breakfast buffet. Not centrally located for walking around town however. Don't know about Buriram.

I stayed at the Princess in Korat. A definite 4*+ IMO, but like the one above mentioned, not in the central part of the city...more like on the outskirts.

 

Staff was very helpful...arranged for a hotel van to take me and my "friend" out to Pimai to see the Khmer ruins and, later, around the city and out to "pottery row" (at a reasonable price). The only thing I didn't like about it was the location, as I like to walk around towns/cities a bit and this was on the outskirts.

 

Don't have a clue about Buriram.

I like the location of the Rachaphruk Grand Hotel in Khorat. Price was fair and the rooms were comfortable

 

in Buriram I stayed at the Vongthong Hotel. Nothing special but could not see anything better in the city.

I stayed at the Vong Thong in Buriram a few years back. A very attractive traditional Thai teak hotel and I paid only 500baht that my local GF got for a rate. Definetly would stay again.

Years ago, we were at RACHAPRUK HOTEL, Mittrapap Rd., near to the bus station.

Large, clean and very good hotel, 1'200 B incl. breakfast
