Flashermac
You and Gummi are probably right. Look at all of the red plate (= new) cars on the road these days. Some Thais buy cars even knowing they can't make the payments. They have a new car to play with for a few months before it is reposessed!
whosyourdaddy
Back in 1999 they had a similar article in the newspaper. They used an indian city as an example of success. Doubt it is going to make much difference
vegasdave49
I had the misfortune of renting a tiger one time. They are terrible. I doubt they would last long enough to even pay them off. Pathetic quility cheaply built and low quality materials from what I could tell.
Flashermac
Then there's hope for us. Thais will all rush to get them, and the blamed things will soon fall apart -- getting plenty of motorcycles off of the road! :: p.s. This motorcycle madness only began when Bangkok traffic got so bad. Thais bought the bikes to weave around through the traffic jams.
