There are several in the King's palace according to a book written by Princess PhraThep. That swear word got my moth washed by soap when I was little. It just means (I was explained) that the lizards are ugly and ate anything, dirty, that is all.

I wonder at times whether some animals xalled each other "human" too ::

[color:"red"]" hee-a "...is this correct ?

It is used with the meaning of "older brother", as someone posted, it is a Chinese word. It also has inuando that the man has some money/status. For women it is "jae" which can mean an older woman (with money). A regular (lack of adjective here) woman will not be addressed as "jae" by strangers to my knowledge.
