chilli13
nightlife? you mean sex right. well this being within the golden triangle of sex, sin & sanook theres always gonna be something for you out there as long you make it clear to the local transport lasses what you need. Just make sure to tell them that you only had a drink at k11 so not interesting in kids. Bye - Ib006
thai3
Why do you assume nightlife=sex, don't you ever do anything else nightime?-peter

Falang
Tha Tum is a agricultural village so don't expect to much about the night life. I found two places, one is a open air karaoke that serve korean bbq and the other place is on the road side with about 6 thatch roof mini Thai house with a table in the center, you sit on the floor around the table to drink. There is also a pool hall if you want to try to win a few games with Thai players. If you are looking for a place to stay, the is a place that rent room next door to the thach rook bar, the place is brand new construction, very peaceful and it is run by a young German guy with is Thai wife. Just ask in the village everybody will know where it is. If my memory is good the price is around 350 B with air con. For places or things to see, the Thai family will know where to go and be very happy to bring you there. You a very near the Cambodia border so you can make a day trip there. For the fun of it, try to organise a fishing trip to the river Moon to catch the big river prawn, they make a very good dinner grilled on the charcoal. Some are very big. You will find yourself to be the visible minority there, everybody will know the first day that you are there, they are very nice people.
