Central Scrutinizer
dddave, Exactly. Great clam chowder actually, even at 3 a.m., and their fried clam plate is excellent, but expensive now. Actually I've never really cared for their roast-a-beef sandwich, but it is huge and worth the money if hungry. Yeah, Revere beach back in the late 60's and early 70's was a trip! Drag racing, pussy galore, and a fun trip down the strip on the weekend nights really, again and again. Although Nahant beach was my usual haunt really back then. Torneyboy
Hi So are you suggesting a clam chowder before this ride??
gobbledonk
Rollercoasters have never worried me - you are strapped in, with a bar across your legs and the centrifugal force in the loops is going to keep all but the stupidest safe in the carriage. If there is a single 'ride' that I find bloody terrifying, its the 'skyway' thing on the Gold Coast. You sit two to a car, legs dangling in the breeze, the car gently rocking in the breeze for an eternity as you cross the park, and there is a very real sense of freefall whenever your butt starts to slide forward. I refuse to go on that thing again. ::
