ultras67
Rangers in dramatic title triumph Rangers pipped rivals Celtic to the Scottish Premier League title after a dramatic final day of the season. The Gers went into the final game two points behind their Glasgow rivals, but a sensational late fightback by Motherwell secured them the title. Celtic led through a Chris Sutton goal, but two goals in the dying minutes from Scott McDonald saw Motherwell win 2-1. Nacho Novo's goal gave Rangers a 1-0 win over Hibernian, who qualified for Europe, to see them leapfrogg Celtic. sayjann
bit of a shocker........ :: Celtic in prime position with a couple of Minutes to go. will O'Neill go in the next few Weeks?. i understand his Wife is quite ill and his comments about leaving this Week were not geared towards the MU job but the fact that he wants to look after her........ ultras67
well if anyone wants a manger that only plays the long ball game with overly physical tactics and a chip on his shoulder then he is ideal. i think this whole thing with his wife is just a smokescreen. even when he was with leicester he was overly sensitive to criticism and in the scottish goldfish bowl he cant handle the press and awkward questions. i seriously dont think that any big club would touch him. maybe a 2nd tier club that could take a gamble but not the top 4. you could probably argue that moyes was a real gamble for everton but they could afford to do that given their underperformance for the last 10 years or so. man u would be looking to probably a european manager who has won things at the top level - capello etc
Steve
Is O'Neil the next Man Yoo manager? Shock results. Never would have thought Celtic lose on the final day. I'm a 'Gers fan in the SPL so I'm happy (also a fondness for Dundee).
