When I try I get the message "Guest access to this board is not permited. You must be a member, Logged in and have cookies enabled". But there is no description about how to register as a member! Membership is free but they stopped taking new members so if you are not a member, or know an old member who can give you their log in, then you can't join. Hi mad, Well, I am a member and have been for almost as long as on NP. I was not a frequent visitor and posted only 2 - 3 times. I can't get on to it these days. Not a big loss, quite frankly. dean Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 I do have a password and a user name (same name as here) but the problem must be with my "cookies". I have gone in and changed the setting to accept just about anything and it makes no difference. I have e-mailed the webmaster several times about this but he can come up with no other things to try, so I gave up. I may try on another computer, particularly in Thailand next month, to see if that makes any difference or whether the problem is with the user name/password. follies Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 I don't think cookies is your only problem - I regularly access this forum from a computer that is pretty restricted - but what it does is ask me if I want to accept the cookie.
