junglesoup
Not sure if this should go here but it is a general question. I am coming to Thailand in a week to live and I will have an expensive guitar worth about £600 sterling and a laptop worth the guts of £1000 sterling. I ve noticed that the insurance policies only cover 100 to 200 pound sterling per single item, and you have to pay £75 excess. Pretty shit covers. Just wondering what everyone here does about insurance for health, belongings etc.
whosyourdaddy
I have my house, house contents and my SLR Dig. camera insured with Royal Sun Alliance. Like many insurance companies here they have a 3000B minimum payment policy so you might want to get everything you have insured. My family has been with BUPA bluecross ( health) insurance for some time My life insurance is with ING All these Thai based companies can be found on the net
Nervous_Dog
I was about to answer when I read the above post. Sun Alliance seem to do a lot of ensuring. All the above. DOG
limbo
Sun Alliance is good. Bupa Bluecross is a fave amongst expats as well.
