voodoo31
I am interested in finding out about trading securities in Thailand. Anybody know of or use reputable online brokers? Also are their regulations about having to be a resident in Thailand or have a Thai bank account.
stars99hk
Do not know about sites in Thailand. But I can trade Thai stocks and various other Asian stocks thru' www.boom.com.hk which is a stock trading site based in Hong Kong. You do not need to have a bank account in Hong Kong to open an account.
voodoo31
interesting they seem to offer access to all South East Asian markets, unfortunately I dont have a Hong Kong bank account. Austraian online traders tend not to offer much access to Asia - only main exchnages like Hong Kong. Im based in Japan but no English language options offered here on web sites

stars99hk
As far as I can see you do not need a Hong Kong bank account you would open an account with them and just wire transfer funds. It does say under their faq "Is there any restriction to open an account with BOOM? BOOM welcomes anyone age over 18, from anywhere in the world."
