New Petchburi Pete
Hi Cent, I must caution you about the word for 'buffalo,' It is closely related to the word for a penis. Should you mistakingly call a Thai a buffalo, you will get into a fight, something I most definitely would not recommend! I was in only one fight in LOS. I was leaving Patpong with Fon (she likes Lucifer's disco ... I don't!) when I was shoved from behind. When I turned around, I thought I first saw a lady! Upon looking more closely I thought it was a transvestite. I did not punch her, him or whatever (because I wasn't sure of it's sexual status). I simply put "it" down with a very simple judo move. I like to protect my knuckles when able.

Central Scrutinizer
All, Well, my Thai is horrible yet, but I just put together Kii=shit and kwai=buffalo. So I use "kii kwai" as my own ignorant form of "bullshit" when joking with the wife about something I don't believe. She understands what I'm saying anyway. And yeah, she does understand what bullshit means in English. I had to explain it to her once after using it and she heard me and asked for an interpretation. Now she uses it on me once in a while when she calls me on my bullshit! :-) Although never in public. Cent

How do Thais pronounce Moor? I would think that would be difficult for them. WHat's the tone? So now we have 3 or 4 good words for bullshit. Thanks all! Daw laa Kii Moor Leolai Raisara How about we rate these? Which is best to use, most commonly understood, which is more obscure? Anyone know the tones? Also, Pete (I think it was Pete), re buffalo being like penis, isn't buffalo kwai and penis Jew? Those don't sound alike to me.
