The reason I ask is that I hope to make a trip to the LOS late in January. But right now in the States, the major electronics and office supply outlets are having incredible deals of computer and camera-related items...and I might be able to score something for you at a great price. For example. I just picked up a 2gig flash memory (PNY Cruzer) for $89...regular #179. (50% discount) at Office Depot. Also got a 80GB Western Digital portable hardrive for only $119 at Circuit City (Regular price is about $179-$189). Can get cards (CF and SD) for cameras at some equivalent savings. Picked up a Samsung A7 7.0 at Target for $188 ! (Regular $300 and up, depending on where you get it.) These sales typically only last 2 to 5 days.
