He was probably trying to sound cute most likely sweet talking a girl. There is no strict rules often you hear guys using female words and vise a versa. Thai hookers I know would refer to themselves (when speaking politely)as phuuying klaang khuen ( ผู้หญิงกลางคืน )khaay dtua (sell your body)is a bit common almost impolite or derogatory.
